Mayor’s Office, Communication Department – Media Specialist

As a Media Specialist within the Mayor’s Office Communication Department, I help shape the narrative of the City of Salisbury by designing a variety of materials, including printed marketing materials, reports, social media graphics, and videos. I draft press releases, manage the City’s social media pages, act as a backup Public Information Officer, and assist the Mayor with written material. This position will also be a key player in supporting events such as press conferences, ribbon cuttings, and other engaging community events.
